I am sure that in 10 years time I will remember Thomas sitting on the sofa, head under the blinds, in his stripy pyjamas and polka dot sleep sack, talking to Bobo who is stuffed in the crook of his arm. And it will be a tender memory, full of joy.

But at the moment it is 5:45am and I am weary.

I broke my finger during Theo’s nap.

I was lifting up rocks for Thomas to find bugs for his Venus Flytrap. And one crushed my finger against the wall of the house.

So what does Thomas want to do during Theo’s nap today?! His plan was foiled by Theo falling asleep in the car for a mere 25 mins. (In his crib it’s usually 2 hours.)

20-months was sporting a casual look at home today: nappy, “squeezy juice” T-shirt, Thomas’s maroon sock on one hand, and sun glasses on crooked.
