The new trick for the past 2 days is pulling himself up onto his knees - and on one occasion to his feet. Still much to learn, however, as ‘what comes up, must come down’. In Thomas’s case usually in a ‘TIMBER’ movement, crashing straight backwards. He needs watching like a hawk!

Bath time (which takes place after the 5:30 pm high tea) continues to be a highlight of THomas’s day. Beginning with the excitement of peering over the edge as the water fills, it’s a time of fun and good times.  Activities include

Why bother with the Teletubbies, toys or outings, when you can watch the washing in the washing machine?   (The pale wash is much more interesting than the dark items, whose swooshing is difficult to distinguish.)

Despite the idyllic setting under the apple tree in Granny and Grandpa’s garden, Thomas failed to fall into the deep sleep that babies are supposed to indulge in.
