Usually Thomas loves going to the steam trains, but yesterday he said he was scared and wouldn’t go anywhere near the train. Fortunately the day was saved by a misting sprinkler placed in a tree. He was really into letting it slowly accumulate drips on his arms.

Today as I was taking Thomas to his nanny / playgroup, we passed through one of the commercial districts in our neighborhood and Thomas said:
“the otherday, thomas go shopping here. with grannie. see birds, baby bunnies here.”
