Thomas went to a Halloween Movie party tonight. He was excited. He was very, very excited. So excited he could barely contain himself, too busy to eat supper because “I’m setting up. I’m getting my pillow and I’m setting up.” He was bouncing off the walls, and he hadn’t even had any sugar…

6:48am - A sleepy Thomas thumps downstairs to me and Theo. “I’m scared, Mummy. I was scared in my room.”
6:49am - I show Thomas that it’s raining outside.
