Breakfast, Beach, Barn and Beer

Today ought to be the stuff of idyllic childhood memories.
After breakfast (of pancakes, which Thomas now proudly orders himself) we headed to the beach.
Then off to a local farm tour with Jonas and Cora.
Then to a fabulous pub (OK, not a pub, but the equivalent) where we sat outside, drinking beer, while Cora and Theo slept in the car, the boys ran around and played, and we ate nachos, chips and quesidillas.

That third picture—the one with Thomas in 3/4 profile, is perfection. You should blow it up, frame it, and hang it on your wall as his 3-yr old portrait. I can’t imagine a pro doing any better than this.
